Courtesy call (diplomacy) - In diplomacy, a courtesy call is a formal meeting in which a diplomat or representative of a state pays a visit out of courtesy to a head of state or state office holder. Courtesy calls may be paid by another head of state, a prime minister, a minister, or a diplomat.

Courtesy apostrophe - A courtesy apostrophe is an apostrophe that is used where grammatically it is incorrect, but eases reading for the reader by separating the apostrophe s from the rest of the word, normally making the word plural. Courtesy apostrophes are not considered to be a concrete part of speech, and are not taught everywhere.

Courtesy flag - A courtesy flag (or courtesy ensign) is flown by a ship in foreign waters as a token of respect. It is a small national maritime flag of the host country that is usually worn on the starboard yardarm or crosstree.
